How much does a first visit cost?
Your first visit is $250, and it includes a full health history, a gentle exam, and INSiGHT nervous system scans. We’re a cash-based practice, so we don’t bill insurance, but we do accept HSA, FSA, and CareCredit, and we can give you a superbill if you’d like to submit it yourself. When you book, we ask for a $50 deposit to hold your spot, and it goes toward your first visit. After your scans, we go over care options and pricing together.
Is chiropractic care safe for babies and kids?
Yes, our adjustments for babies and kids are very gentle, using about the pressure you’d use to check if a tomato is ripe. It looks nothing like the “cracking” most people picture. Dr. Gage has focused his training on pediatric and infant care, and we often adjust little ones while they play or sit on a parent’s lap. We see newborns through teens, and we always explain what we’re doing before we do it.
What kinds of things do you help kids with?
We help kids whose nervous systems are stuck in stress mode, which can show up as struggles with sleep, focus, sensory overload, digestion, or meeting milestones. We don’t diagnose or chase labels. Instead, we use INSiGHT scans to measure how your child’s nervous system is handling stress, then build a care plan around what we find. Many of the parents we see have already tried everything and want to understand what’s really going on.
Can I come in while I am pregnant?
Yes, we love caring for moms through every stage of pregnancy, and both of our doctors are Webster certified. The Webster Technique focuses on balancing the pelvis and easing tension on the nervous system, so your body can adapt as your baby grows. We never try to “turn” a baby. Our goal is to give you and your baby the best possible environment leading up to birth, and we keep supporting you after baby arrives too.
Do you see the whole family?
Yes, we care for the whole family, from newborns to grandparents. Many families start with one child, then bring in siblings or parents once they learn how much stress affects the nervous system. Each person gets their own exam and scans because every nervous system is different. Each additional family member’s first visit is $150, and we’re happy to schedule visits back to back to make your day easier.
What happens at the first visit?
Your first visit is a full health history, a gentle exam, and INSiGHT nervous system scans. The scans (HRV, thermal, and sEMG) are painless and use no radiation. We don’t adjust on day one. At your second visit, the doctor walks you through what your scans show and recommends a plan, and adjustments start then if it’s a good fit.
How is Physis different from other chiropractors?
We measure the nervous system instead of guessing. Many people think of chiropractic as just for backs, but we focus on how well your nervous system handles stress, because it plays a role in sleep, focus, mood, digestion, and so much more. Our INSiGHT scans show us what’s happening, so every recommendation is based on your results, not a one-size-fits-all routine. We re-scan along the way so we can track changes together.

We’re at 4140 Lemmon Ave, Suite 120, Dallas, TX 75219. Our hours are Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 9 to 1 and 3 to 6, and Friday from 9 to 1. We’re closed Tuesdays and weekends. What if I need to cancel or reschedule?
Please call our front desk at (469) 702-1782 to cancel or reschedule, since changes can’t be made online or by text. If you reschedule at least 24 hours ahead, your $50 deposit carries over as a credit toward your new visit. If you cancel with less than 24 hours notice or miss your visit, your $50 deposit is non-refundable. We ask for as much notice as you can give, and we’ll always do our best to work with you.
